About us

ISUOG is an international professional membership association and registered charity in the UK that aims to improve women’s health through the provision and broad dissemination of the highest quality education and research information around ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology. To this end we publish a high level scientific research Journal, and organise the most highly respected international World Congress in our field.

A key strategic priority of the Society is to offer a comprehensive education in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound with a global reach. We do so by offering courses as well as online lectures, online CME and an online encyclopedia (VISUOG).

We have over 13,000 individual members in 127 countries that benefit from access to all these resources as well as significantly reduced fees to attend our courses and our annual World Congress. ISUOG also runs an Outreach program where we extend education to under-resourced countries including Ghana, Somaliland, Mongolia, and Haiti.

Our offices are open plan and function as a small team interactive environment, although our Journal team works separately from the rest of the group. Management structures are relatively flat and informal and open communication is encouraged.
