Dr. Liat Gindes is a specialist in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Ultrasound, Director of Women Ultrasound Unit at Wofson Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, Israel. The main fields of research of Dr. Gindes are 3- and 4-dimensional fetal ultrasound, fetal echocardiography and fetal brain. She has participated in a research/clinical fellowship in 3-dimensional ultrasound, at the University of California San Diego, and in fetal echocardiography at Imperial College of London. She is chair of the 3D specific interest group of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG), and chair of Fetal Echocardiography Community of Practice, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
